Overheard at Party Conference

I got to be a reporter at this year’s Labour and Conservation party conferences. It was hard work.

Here are some actual nothingsĀ that were spoken:

“Oh no it should be fine, we have behavioural economic studies that tell us how to talk to people.”

“We need to reorganise our organisational structures.”

“I helped author a report which aimed to look at case studies of projects that had been evaluated as making a real difference in terms of life outcomes.”

“The problem is that they thought that they needed to do this, because they thought that that was what they ought to be doing.”
